  • The types of incidents which the Queensland Jewish Board of Deputies is able to assist with include instances where you have been discriminated against, feel you have been vilified on the basis of your Judaism or relationship with Israel or you or your property have experienced some sort of physical or other abuse. Or, let us know if you have information regarding an antisemitic incident.

    The Police should be contacted immediate if a crime is happening NOW or anyone is in danger.

    The CSG has a team equipped to handle antisemitic incidents and is able to provide support. Although with antisemitic incidents CSG liaises with police and other government bodies, it is nevertheless important that you report any incident of a criminal nature to your local police station as well as to CSG.

  • This free service has been operating by the Queensland Jewish Board of Deputies (QJBD Inc.) for more than 50 years. We provide speakers on topics relating to Judaism and the Jewish way of life, the history of the Jewish people, Australian Jewry and Israel to schools, service organisations, church groups, community organisations and clubs.

    If you would like to request a speaker, please email (speakers@qjbd.org) your request and we will try to accommodate your needs. Please include the following information:

    • The type of audience and how many people

    • Time the speaker should speak for

    • What are the main areas you’d like covered

    • Are there any other speakers

    • What is the format of the session (e.g. sit-down event, classroom style, stand-up event)

    (N.B. requesting a speaker will not necessarily guarantee your request and a speaking opportunity may be declined by the QJBD Inc.)
