The National Security Headquarters (NSH) issued its updated travel threat assessment on Tuesday afternoon, warning of potential terrorist threats against Israelis abroad ahead of the spring holidays and summer travel season.
“In our assessment, Hamas will continue its efforts to carry out attacks targeting Israeli or Jewish individuals and sites abroad.”
The NSH advises the following precautions:
• Avoid demonstrations and protests.
• Refrain from discussing topics related to Israel or Judaism in public settings.
• Be cautious about sharing personal information or travel details with strangers unless absolutely necessary.
• Follow enhanced safety measures while abroad:
• Avoid displaying visible Israeli symbols.
• Refrain from posting travel plans, photos, or real-time updates on social media.
• Avoid engaging with unfamiliar individuals (this does not apply to service providers).
